5 Yellow Earth Star

February 4this the time when the 9 Flying Stars move to new locations (palaces) so in line with this I relocate my feng shui cures. First I cleanse them with salt to get rid of any negativity, I then put them outdoors to recharge – outside in sunshine for about 4 hours is ideal – yes I know not fantastic time weather wise.

For the past twelve months the destructive 5 yellow star has been in the north causing problems with peoples career/journey. As we know the world has been in recession and unemployment has spiralled. It now travels to visit the south west – relationships.

Relationships can be with your partner, children, parents, employer or people like bank manger or suppliers. They all could be fractured over the coming months. I would expect more divorce and break ups as the stress of struggling through the recession starts to take effect.

You may think that the 5 earth star visiting the 2nd palace (earth) would be harmonious, but earth is unstable, like sand it can shift and be extremely destructive. To counteract any harmful effects I will hang a metal 6 rod wind chime in the south west of my house. Why do this? Well 6 is a metal number and metal will help drain the earth’s harmful effects.

Also assess your décor and furnishings, you should not place anything red (fire) here as it will only ‘nourish’ earth. This includes furnishings, lamps candles etc. Introduce silver, metal and white colours in the form of cushions, throws and rugs. Metal ornaments are also a good idea, just make sure they don’t have sharp points.  Stores like Ikea, and large supermarkets all sell well priced items, so you can make subtle changes without breaking the bank.

Michael Owen

Apparently former England cricketer Geoff Boycott has urged Manchester United striker Michael Owen to try the ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui in a bid to get his World Cup ambitions back on track.

This story was reported in many of the daily papers earlier this month.

Owen has failed to win a regular first-team place since moving to Old Trafford in July. United fan Boycott says feng shui was a big help to him when he was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2002 and has told the soccer player to try it out to try and win a place in the England team.

“I wrote to Michael Owen a while back to say, ‘look at this and see what you think’, People who don’t know anything feng shui say it is rubbish but it worked for me – I’m alive,” said former opening batsman Boycott”.

Michael Owen was born on the 14th December 1979; this gives him a 9 Star Ki astrology number of 3 – Wood (Tree).

3 people are in an ‘8 phase’ at the moment, this will change to a ‘9 phase’ as from the 14th February, the Chinese New Year.

8 is Earth – which can be unstable as earth moves and shifts – stillness, stagnation and feeling bogged down because they want progression are how ‘3’s’ may be feeling at the moment. Sudden and radical changes may occur, but season wise 8 is late autumn going into early winter, not a good time for progression.

Feng shui would help Michael if a consultant worked on his career/journey sector and also his good fortune, but he would need think about it quickly as time is running out to get that plane ticket booked!

Feng Shui Conference

I hate being stuck indoors; I was suffering with “cabin fever” not being able to go out in the recent bad weather. As soon as the temperature lifted every window and door in my house was thrown open. It is important to allow fresh air in, daily if possible, this helps disperse stale negative Chi, and lifts the whole atmosphere of the house.

The Feng Shui Society (of which I am a member) is holding a conference in London on the 6th February.

There are six leading feng shui consultants and teachers to present exciting talks on aspects of feng shui that can make a real difference to your life. In addition Roy Riggs has been invited as a special guest to provide practical help on how to protect yourself and your family from the potential dangers of exposure to EMF.

Come and join us for a special day of education, socialising, interaction and fun.

Feng Shui Society Conference and AGM is on Saturday 6th February at Friends Meeting House, 173 Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ starting at 9.30a.m. for registration and first presentation at 10.00 am.

Chris Evans

Chris Evans has often hit the headlines over the years. His colourful life and career, as he would say himself has been a “rollercoaster”. Often surrounded by an avalanche of negative publicity he always seems to “bounce” back.  Now he has a great challenge ahead as he has just taken over Sir Terry Wogan’s slot on BBC Radio 2.

Chris, like Hannah Waterman is a 7, and is also in a spring 3 phase (they have an age gap of 9 years).  As in Hannah’s case this year Chris has got rid of the old – his Drivetime show –  and is the new voice of the flagship Breakfast Show.

A lot of TOG’s – Terry’s Old Geezers – were sad to see him go -no one likes change, and announcing Chris as the “heir to the throne” ruffled a lot of feathers.

I believe Chris will do a good job, He may seem “jolly”, and a “bit of a lad” but he has a deeper side and seems to have grown up and found himself, he now seems happy in his own skin. Over the next few years I believe Chris will develop his own style on the show and attract a huge following.

In phase 6 & 7 you tend to “reap” what you have sown in phases 3 & 4, so if Chris can get it “right” now then he should be able to look forward to a happy, settled career with confidence.

Ricky Groves & Hannah Waterman

Its always sad when a marriage fails, so I thought I would analyse Ricky and Hannah’s 9 Star Ki numbers and assertain what phase they are, and will be entering into on the 4th February.

Ricky is a Ki number 5. These are seen as the most powerful of the nine numbers. They are very resilient and Ricky should bounce back, it will just take him a little time.

Ricky finds himself in a 1 phase at the moment, this is not an auspicious period as it is midwinter. Things may seem bleak, dark and cold, it is a very Yin, a very still time, and can prove to be very depressing especially as the weather is much the same at the moment. From the 4th February Ricky will enter a 2 phase. This is late winter going into early spring. It will still be a tough period for Ricky but as he progresses through 2010 he will be able to see a “little light at the end of the tunnel”, new shoots will start to emerge, deep winter will be behind him and things will look brighter.

Hannah meanwhile is a Ki number 7. This is portrayed as the youngest daughter, the apple of her father’s eye. “Right place, right time” is a phrase often associated with 7’s,  I personally know a lot of 7’s and things just fall at their feet, they never seem to have to work that hard, the good things in life just gravitate towards them.

Hannah at the moment finds herself in a 3 phase, this is spring. The two previous phases for her were 1 (mid winter) followed by 2 (late winter going into early spring). You suddenly come into a 3 phase and spring hits you. The world seems fresh, exciting and you want to clean out the old and start afresh, a bit like Hannah has done changing her body, life and marital status.

From the 4th February Hannah will enter a 4 phase which again should prove to be very productive for her. 4 represents late spring/early summer and she should certainly bloom in this period, opportunities aplenty should come her way, and it will certainly be an excellent time growth wise.
